Tottenham Steam done for the season

The Tottenham Steam have been eliminated from the Greater Metro Hockey League after taking an 8-0 loss to Oshawa on Friday. The Steam ended the regular season with a 11-31 record placing them in the number 19 spot in the 22 team league.

Hornets advance to semi-finals

The Alliston Junior C Hornets advanced to the semi-final round of North Conference of the PJHL after eliminating the Schomberg Cougars in five games. The end for the Cougars came on Sunday (Feb. 12) night in Alliston when the Hornets fought back from a three goal deficit early in the third period and tied the game forcing an overtime period. Alliston was leading the series 3-1 when the teams arrived for the Sunday game after delivering a 9-5 win in game four on Thursday night.
