Lexie Davidson opened a pet grooming business, ‘Paw Starz’ last week in Alliston. The business is located inside The Pet Shop, owned by Sylvia Munroe, and located in the M&M’s plaza. Paw Starz offers full grooming services – from brush and bath to colouring, and specializes in treating dogs with disabilities. “I started the business because I have a dog with severe hip dysplasia. No one wanted to groom him because it hurts him to even touch his back end,” Lexie told The Times. A hairdresser of 7 years, Lexie quit her job, bought all of the specialized equipment required to groom disabled dogs and opened Paw Starz. For an appointment, call Lexie at 705 881-2326. Paw Starz is open Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays by appointment. Pictured, from left: The Pet Shop owner Sylvia Munroe, Mayor Rick Milne, Lexie Davidson, owner of Paw Starz.
