Family Market shares $4500 with the community

The Family Market at the Church of the Evangelists (Anglican) in Tottenham distributed $4500 in cheque to local not-for-profit groups last week.
Receiving donations were: Phil Apperly – Warden, Church of the Evangelists; Maggie Miller – Tottenham Public School, Eat Well to Excel Program; Amber Stevens – Simcoe Manor – Christmas gifts for residents; Marg Barber – Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation – Cardiac Monitors; Marv Chantler – Mathews House Hospice; Lori Whittmore – New Tecumseth Public Library for Pam Kirkpatrick Branch; Pauline Apperly – Christmas Baskets and the Our Town Foodbank; Angela Boyle – My Sisters Place; Gary Brown – Royal Canadian Legion Tottenham Branch – Veterans assistance as well as Plan Canada.
The Family Market/Church, located at 99 Queen Street North in Tottenham, is currently hosting a Pasta Drive for the Phillipines. Any pasta would be welcome as well as monetary donations for powdered milk.
The Family Market is open Saturday mornings from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and the last Thursday of each month from noon until 1:30 p.m. during Soup and Sandwich luncheons.
