Local Physicians “Appreciated” on Monday, and always

On Monday, May 25th, the Alliston & Area Physician Recruitment Committee (AAPRC) hosted ‘Physician Appreciation Day’ to ensure that local physicians, and their staff, know they are appreciated and valued for the work they do. The AAPRC has been holding an annual Physician Appreciation Day since 2005 and was the second community in Ontario to do so. “We are excited about the recent addition of two, new, family physicians in Tottenham. This, in addition to the new urologist practicing in Alliston, and the two new family physicians in Alliston last year. We continue to have inquiries by physicians about relocating to our community, and the next step is to make it more attractive to them by finding or creating practice sites which they can easily move in to,” said Keith White, Chair of the AAPRC.
