And the winners are…

The winners of the Beeton–Tottenham Business Improvement Association’s (BTBIA) ‘Great Big Beeton Bee Part III’ contest were decided on Saturday, May 23rd, at the Beeton Honey & Garden Festival, by public vote. 1st Place is Andrea Romanick, with ‘da Vinci’s Bee’, she wins $2000; 2nd place went to Matt Dedels, with his ‘Winged Beeton’ sign, he wins $1000; 3rd Place went to Helen Marioncu, with ‘Have a Nizzle Day’, she wins $500. The winners will be presented with their cheques in a presentation later this week. Congratulations to everyone who entered, your Bee’s were all the buzz at this year’s Honey Festival. New: The BTBIA is officially launching its new Tottenham art contest, ‘Tottenham Shape of Sound’ on the theme of music. First prize $2000, 2nd prize $1000 and 3rd prize $500. The durable outdoor creations will be on display for public voting during the Tottenham Community Week Street Festival on July 4th. All entrants must preregister with the BTBIA at info@btbia.ca or by calling 905 936-3424. The contest is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. Entries must be made of weather resistant materials for outdoor display, such as: wood, copper, iron, concrete, clay, glass, and no smaller than 18” in length. All entries must be delivered no later than June 27. All entries may become the property of the BTBIA and may be used for public display.
