Show us your support!

Members of the Tec We Gwill Women's Institute are collecting new and gently used bras for their Bra Amnesty fundraiser. Throughout the month of October the WI will be accepting these donations in the women's change room of the recreation centres in Alliston and Tottenham.
“Our goal is to receive as many gently used or new bras to donate to women here in Canada and in developing countries in Africa. As well, we will we will weigh the total amount of bras collected and make a donation to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation based on the weight,” said Tec We Gwill Women's Institute representative and Ward 5 councillor, Donna Jebb. “Bras are costly and difficult to manufacture. In developing countries, this results in a short supply of available, affordable bras. Help the Women's Institute to achieve its goal and ‘support' women that need a little help. It's an uplifting way to support our work.”
