The Beeton Fall Fair celebrates “Fun on the Farm!”
Join the Beeton & District Agricultural Society as they celebrate the 161st anniversary of the Beeton Fall Fair. It takes place at the Beeton Fairgrounds Sept. 15, 16 and 17, with the 2017 theme being “Fun on the Farm.”
“That’s exactly what we plan to promote at this year’s fair!,” said Fair President Laura Daniel.
“For 161 years the Beeton & District Agricultural Society has promoted and showcased agriculture in New Tecumseth and beyond. It is a celebration of our communities’ heritage both past and future. Our Fair is built on a rich history of collaboration between friends, family, neighbours, and the communities that make up New Tecumseth. These relationships allow us to boast about our 161 years of existence and our promotion of agriculture and agriculture’s role in the building of this community and country alike.”
As always, the fair features fun for the whole family! Our new midway features your favourite carnival rides, games and treats. The weekend will be filled with great shows, country-life homecraft and agricultural exhibits, delicious food, farm animals to meet and greet, and fun activities for everyone.
Highlights include:
The Friday band show headlined by Country Star Marshall Dane.
Illusionist and Guiness World Record Holder Lucas Wilson (as seen on Dragon’s Den), Woofjocks Canine All-Stars, Hands on Exotics Animal Display, 4-H competitions, family friendly movie in the park on Saturday.
Sunday features the Demolition Derby, Antique Car, Truck, Tractor & Motorcycle Show.
Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, the Beeton & District Agricultural Society have been putting on an annual Fall Fair for 161 years, which is enjoyed by thousands of people every year.
