Vince’s Market, after two years of investing in company infrastructure and team building, will open their 4th store in Tottenham on Friday, Sept. 22.
The family owned and operated chain of specialty grocery stores will welcome customers, starting at 8 a.m.
“Our new location will be a 14,500-square-foot fresh food experience, in a multipurpose plaza which will complement the existing offering that includes the LCBO, The Beer Store, CIBC, and more,” said partner, Giancarlo Trimarchi.
Vince’s Market has completely re-built the previously vacant unit located at 55 Queen Street South. Taking their design cue from the other locations greatest attributes, the Vince’s Team is hoping to provide a convenient and accessible destination to residents for their quality fresh food needs.
“We are thrilled to have an opportunity to serve a growing neighbourhood that is only 25 minutes away from our existing marketplace,” noted Trimarchi. “We are looking forward to truly becoming a member of the community, while earning the business of every single customer we have the opportunity to serve.”
Vince’s Market is a nationally recognized and award winning, small surface grocery store that focuses on fresh departments within their marketplace. This privately held company employs 300 people in York and Durham Regions, while serving the communities of Sharon, Newmarket and Uxbridge. Their Newmarket location was awarded 2nd place in the Small Surface category in the country, from the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers, and this past year, the company was named 1 of 45 Canada’s Best Managed Companies
