Just two months after expanding their operations into Tottenham, Vince’s Market is ready to experience another growth spurt.

The supermarket announced last week it is making further inroads into the community both from a retail and charitable perspective with a key expansion into Upper Canada Mall and the launch of their “The Community Product” program.

Vince’s announced both initiatives last Wednesday, November 8, at their annual Partner Vendor Meeting at King’s Cardinal Golf Club.

The new small footprint store at Newmarket’s Upper Canada Mall will take pride of place in the mall’s ongoing 40,000 square foot redevelopment project which will result in the Oxford Food Market.

Strategically positioned near the entrance, it will be an expansive retail space incorporating vendors with products ranging from farm fresh produce, soups and salads, snacking options and dairy.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to serve new customers in this new format market, with many other operators of excellence,” said Brian Johns, partner and Vince’s Director of Operations. “Our commitment to quality, freshness and convenience will be a great match for Oxford Market. This project will create a unique vibe, a different experience for shoppers.”

Coupled with their fresh and prepared options, the new space will also allow for a pick-up location for Vince’s “Entertaining Made Easy” program where customers can enjoy fresh platters, custom baskets and cakes ordered online or in-store.

Closer to home, Vince’s is also poised to launch a new program enabling the business to give back to the communities in which they operate.

Earlier this year, Vince’s owners Carmen Trimarchi, Giancarlo Trimarchi and Brian Johns were honoured by York Region photographer Karen Merk in her annual touring exhibition Portraits of Giving, which salutes individuals in all nine York Region Municipalities, along with area first responders and youth, who give back to the community in various ways.

Not content to rest on their laurels, Vince’s is set to launch “The Community Product” in 2018, a program which will identify a key product within stores each advertising period and 15 per cent of all sales of that particular product will benefit a community project selected by each location in Tottenham, Newmarket, Sharon, and Uxbridge.

“Our commitment to the community runs deep,” says the company. “In 2018, Vince’s Market is doubling down on their commitment to the community through The Community Project. The team members at Vince’s Market will have the opportunity to select the charity/organization in December of this year for their locations. Funds will be accumulated throughout 2018 and at the end of the year we look forward to making a significant contribution to four very important causes.”
