Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House celebrated its Grand Opening on Friday, January 18 in Alliston. The event was attended by the Mayor, Rick Milne, and the Deputy Mayor Richard Norcross, as well as representatives from the Alliston & District Chamber of Commerce and the Alliston BIA.

The restaurant, owned by Ryan and Sean Flemming, has been open for business since November 8, however the “Pancake Cutting” ceremony was held off until after the holidays.

Ryan and Sean told The Times they are excited about their new restaurant and partnership, as well as the response from the community. So much so, they are adding a new location.

“This is our first Stacked, the second one is going to be this upcoming summer in Bradford,” Ryan told The Times.

They started in Alliston because, “We feel Alliston is a great town with great people and we have past connections to the area,” Ryan confirmed. “Alliston has been great, we have had a lot of people tell us this is a great fit for this town and they have been waiting for a great breakfast place for a long time.”

As for the menu, Stacked features a large selection of items – from bacon and eggs, French toast, and of course, pancakes, to lunch items too.

Stacked is located at 140 Young Street W. Alliston, and is open 7-days a week from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The restaurant seats 112 people, with staff comprised of Simcoe County residents from Barrie and Alliston.

“Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a family breakfast and lunch hot spot that focuses on combining quality food with quality service,” said Ryan. “We believe in bringing back the ‘family' in family restaurants. We even have our young ones here on Sunday afternoons to help us out and seat people to add that family touch.”
