The Town of New Tecumseth has received additional funding in the amount of $84,000, over and above the previously approved funding, from the Trans Canada Trails Grant Program.

Funds, leftover from the 2012 application year, will be used to purchase 4800 cubic meters of limestone screenings and galvanized fencing.

“This will allow for the extension and improvement of select trail areas within the Town of New Tecumseth and in particularly between the 4th and 6th Lines,” says Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture, Ray Osmond.
