17 new ‘No Parking’ signs

Town council discussed the proposed installation of 17 new “No Parking” signs on the north side of Shephard Avenue within the limit of the Copperglen Estates Subdivision.
Ward 4 councillor, Fran Sainsbury, has asked town staff to look at the impact of the request, from a visual pollution standpoint (as a recent commissioned report from Roger Brooks indicated that sign pollution was one of the issues facing the Town of New Tecumseth already) however the installation of the additional signs is a staff solution to an on-street parking issue facing residents on Shephard Avenue, from Stoneham Street to Boyne Street, who have come forward with complaints.
