20th Annual Tottenham Classic Car & Truck Show a success despite the weather

Dear editor:
Although the rain reduced the attendance of vehicles and spectators to this years car show held Sunday July 7th at the Tottenham Conservation Area, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the 160 people who registered vehicles and the over 300 spectators that braved the day. (Less than half the usual quantity of vehicles registered and 25% of the usual spectator attendance).
The Show committee would like to thank all the volunteers who helped run the show in less than perfect conditions with special thanks to The Tottenham Lions Club and Tottenham, Beeton & District Chamber of Commerce.
Committee Chairman, John Groen would also like to thank the Car Show Committee members for their outstanding contributions which continues to drive this celebrated community event year after year including; Benny Borg, Al Donn, Mark Graf, Kyle Hofland, Don Hoy, Olli Kauppinen, Chris Margeson, Al McClure, Jess Prothero, Ian Witherspoon and special thanks to our extraordinary secretary Monique Chirrey who’s hard work and dedication continues to inspire everyone who has the pleasure to meet and work with her.
