On Wednesday March 20th, firefighters from Bradford, New Tecumseth, Innisfil, and King Township worked late into the night after being called in around 6 p.m. when the main barn on a horse farm caught fire. The barn located on 6th Line off of Highway 88 was home to 30 horses, and luckily all of them were evacuated safely. The barn was being used by Perfectly Stable Farms, a program that works with underprivileged children and helps them build relationships with animals. Unfortunately all their equipment (saddles, bridals, and horse food) was destroyed in the fire, if you’re willing to donate any equipment you can contact Perfectly Stable Farms at 905 751–3048.
