On Tuesday, May 19, around 7:30 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Traffic & Marine officer was patrolling the hamlet of Bond Head. He observed a vehicle travelling towards him at a high rate of speed. He activated his radar and the vehicle registered a speed of 110 km/h. The speed limit in Bond Head is 50 km/h. The man was stopped and investigated.
A 20 year old Beeton man will be in court in June, charged with Speeding and Stunt Driving. His car was impounded and his licence suspended for 7 days.
