Adjala-Tosorontio has entered into an agreement with the owners of two subdivisions in the hamlet of Colgan which will see the development companies pay for the Master Servicing Plan.
The two developers, the Walton Group and Winzen Properties, have been working to move both subdivisions forwards and in order to fulfil the draft conditions needed before development can begin, a method of treating wastewater needs to be decided on.
The agreement, which was passed as a bylaw Monday night, will see the township not pay for any of the costs of the upgrade to the Colgan Maser servicing Plan which will be done by Greenland Consulting.
The township will also hold $25,000 in securities to ensure that there are no unpaid bills.
