The Children’s Treatment Network of Simcoe–York held one of its annual major events last week, welcoming families with kids with special needs in for a day of fun activities and games.
Roughly 100 people stopped by to participate in face painting, crafts, planting, spend some time with a therapy dog and enjoy a magic show by The Magical Duda.
With funding from the Honda Canada Foundation, the Children’s Treatment Network holds three major events each year to give families the chance network with one another and of course have some fun. Each year, the Alliston team organizes the Spring Fling, a Halloween and a Holiday Party.
The network itself gives families in Simcoe County and York Region access to a wide range of rehabilitation, clinical and specialty services and supports at their nine locations throughout the area.
