On Saturday May 11th M&M Meat Shops across the nation took part in a barbecue fundraiser to for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC). The Allison location, owned by Trevor Holmes, was one of 430 locations to participate in the event. Trevor, along with his employees and volunteers raised $2300, contributing to the nation total of $1.2 million. In 25 years the event has raised $24,306,000. Proceeds raised will go directly to CCFC to invest in research, education, awareness and advocacy for IBD, a disease that affects more than 233,000 Canadian men, women and children.
