Alliston Potato Festival celebrates 40th anniversary

Festivals and Events of Ontario (FEO) has rewarded Alliston for the success and prominence of its Annual Potato Festival. Last fall the FEO accepted submissions for its Top 100 Events and Festivals in Ontario list, and judges decided that Alliston’s famous Potato Festival deserves to be on the list.
The list contains all the festivals and events that standout in the industry. The Top 100 recipients are the most well known, and celebrated events in Ontario, which draw both national and international audiences.
This year will mark the 40th anniversary of the Potato Festival, and takes place between August 9–10.
