Alliston subdivision named in OHBA Awards of Distinction for 2013

Reid’s Heritage Homes (RHH), captured top honours when it was named 2013 Ontario Home Builder of the Year by the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA). The Southwestern Ontario-based builder excels in its commitment to energy efficient, high-quality craftsmanship and creative approaches to sales and marketing. With over 30 years of experience in the home building industry, the firm has built their reputation on their promise to create homes, neighbourhoods and communities that are safe, inviting and committed to a greener future. Based on this philosophy, Reid’s was the first company in Canada to build the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) ‘platinum-level’ home and has continued to strive towards more efficient homes by participating in the ecoEnergy Innovation Initiative to build net-zero homes that are affordable and sustainable. It is because of projects like these that the firm has been the proud recipient of several awards recognizing their commitment to the environment and the community, including: the 2013 Water Conservation and Efficiency Award and the 2013 Cambridge Workforce Training and Development Award.
