Art Unique celebrates 10th anniversary

Local artists from all over New Tecumseth and Innisfil came out to congratulate Ruth Draper, owner of Art Unique in Cookstown, on Sunday during her 10th Anniversary celebrations. Over the years, Draper has helped many local artists – including Mo Bayliss and Brian Lockhart of Tottenham – by allowing them to showcase their works at her gallery. At every event hosted by Draper, a new artist is featured and her anniversary party was no exception. Just moving to the area from Hamilton, Marta Kutsera was the featured artist at the event with her abstract paintings. For the next while, you can see Kutsera’s work on display at Art Unique. To commemorate Art Unique’s service to the community, Draper was also recently presented with an award for ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ from Nottawasaga Futures.
