Autism fundraiser – 2nd Annual Ball Hockey Party

April 25, 2013   ·   0 Comments

If you’re a fan of the Alliston Hornets, you’ve probably seen Jonathan Handy by the bench on game nights. He’s the stick-boy for the Junior C club and he’s also a big hockey fan.

Jonathan also has a big heart and doesn’t forget about others when his birthday rolls around.

For his 11th birthday, Jonathan will be hosting his second annual ball hockey birthday party. Instead of gifts he is asking for donations with all funds raised going to Autism Ontario.

The event will be held at the old Alliston Arena on Nelson Street in Alliston on June 2, from 12:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

You will need to bring a hockey helmet, hockey gloves, shin pads and of course a hockey stick. You should also bring one light, and one dark shirt.

Pizza and cake will be served upstairs in the arena from 3 – 4 p.m.

Don’t miss out on a chance to play arena ball hockey and raise money for a good cause.

You can join in the fun by calling Tarra or Ryan at 705 435-9493 or by texting Tarra at 705 796-4707, by May 17.
