B–Town Ballers

Seven young men from the New Tecumseth area, Danny Fillatre, Christian Petrozza, Mike Masucci, Brendan Torlone, Matt Hudgin, Dylan Bell and Cody Greene, recently played in Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On 4 on 4 tournament in Barrie Ontario. There were 35 teams in their division of under 17. These boys went undefeated through 8 games and captured the Championship and qualified for the Nationals Tournament in Nova Scotia, Sept. 26–28, 2013.

They have been very busy doing Bottle Drives, getting sponsors and collecting donations, as well as trying to organize a Zumba-thon and 2 ball hockey tournaments to help fund the trip. Our next fundraiser is a 4 on 4 ball hockey tourmanent  Aug. 24, 25 & 26 right here in Beeton at the Tennis Courts, so please hurry and register at cblakey74@hotmail.com. You will also see the boys helping at The Meet Your Neighbour Pic Nic, Sunday Aug. 18 doing whatever needs to be done, to ensure everyone has a safe and great time!
