The Beeton Lions Club is hosting a Coffee Break fundraiser on Friday, September 27 in conjunction with their Friday Night Jam session. The Coffee Break is in support of the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County. A Coffee Break is an opportunity for people to gather together and have a cup of coffee in exchange for a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County. Not only will one get a good cup of coffee and some goodies, but will also have the opportunity to listen to some very good music provided by a number of musicians who get together every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 8 p.m. upstairs in the Beeton Legion.
Currently there are an estimated 7,200 people in Simcoe County living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County offers a variety of quality programs and services designed to meet the needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and their caregivers. Funds raised by local Coffee Break hosts stay in Simcoe County.
So come on out on Friday, September 27 for that cup of coffee as well as an evening of good music and make a donation in support a great cause. For further information call 905 778-9597.
