Beeton residents hit it big in LOTTO 6/49, taking home $104,392

Beeton residents Anabell Alonso and Robert Pasquini, had their day, and possibly their year made a little brighter after winning a LOTTO 6/49 second prize worth $104,392.30 in the Jan. 28, 2023 draw.
They also won $2 on their ENCORE selection to top up that amount.
Anabell and Robert said they have been playing the lottery together for about nine years. They like to play LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX, and Daily Grand. They always play ENCORE on their tickets as well.
Anabell said she checked their ticket while Robert was pumping gas.
“He passed me the ticket to check and joking said, ‘here’s our winning ticket.’ When I saw Big Winner, I started screaming. The clerk started knocking on the window to get Robert’s attention.”
Robert said he saw a commotion inside.
“I saw Anabell jumping up and down and heard the screams. I went into the store and Anabell jumped on me. I felt like a millionaire to get a break in life like this.”
The couple said they plan to pay some bills and save their winnings.
“We’re healthy and happy and so are the people we love,” Anabell said. “We have everything we need. But it would be nice to get a new purse.”
