The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) has received a donation of $5,000 from Canadian Tire in Alliston.
The funds were raised during Canadian Tire’s successful ‘Blooms for a Cause’ initiative.
Blooms for a Cause was launched at the Allsiton Canadian Tire store, running from May 11 to June 15. Every hanging basket purchased contributed $2 to healthcare in the community by being donated to SMHF.
“We are incredibly thankful to Canadian Tire and everyone who participated in the ‘Blooms for a Cause’ fundraiser,” said Darlene Mcleod, Interim CEO of SMHF. “Their generosity will have a lasting impact on our community’s health and well-being. Every dollar raised helps us continue to provide quality healthcare services right here at home.”
Canadian Tire Alliston has again shown its commitment to the community by supporting the hospital.
The Hospital Foundation thanks Canadian Tire and its customers for their support.
