The Annual Classic Car, Truck and Antique Snowmobile Show will once again be taking place at the Tottenham Conservation Area.
This year, the event, hosted by the Tottenham Beeton & District Chamber of Commerce Inc. and the Tottenham & District Lions Club Inc., will take place on July 7th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday the organization won the approval of council to have the $35 park fee waived, to increase profits generated by the event, which are put back into the community.
“Last year we attracted approximately 346 cars and 800 spectators. This was an exciting celebration of our automotive past. It offers businesses in the New Tecumseth Area an opportunity to market to this growing, affluent and interested automotive community,” said a letter from John Groen, Chair, Tottenham Classic Car and Truck Show Committee. “The Classic Car Show is also used as a fundraiser for the two organizing groups, with any profits being returned to the local community as charitable donations.”
