Cemetery tour June 6th

Members of the Heritage Cemetery Committee, along with Town staff, will participate in the Annual Heritage Cemetery Tour today, June 6th.
During the tour, committee members will visit the six identified heritage cemeteries already designated in the municipality, taking note of headstones requiring special care and attention as well as tree or property concerns.
The group will also visit the Sir William Osler Cairn cemetery on the 7th Line to confirm if the site is currently being cared for or to make a suggestion to have it cared for by Town staff.
The committee’s recommendation will be brought to council at a future date.
