Colgan subdivision given two year extension

Adjala–Tosorontio council has given two year extensions to the draft plan approvals for the two major subdivisions planned for the hamlet of Colgan.
Council agreed Monday night to give both Walton (Colgan) and Winzen the extensions to November 26. 2018.
When the Ontario Municipal Board approved the two plans of subdivision in 2010, both companies were given six years to meet a number of conditions.
They are currently focusing on fulfilling the conditions which include supporting the updating of the Colgan Master Servicing Plan.
Walton noted in its request that it has conditionally sold its property to Tribute Acquisitions Limited.
