Come paint a Derby Car

Dear editor:
The Tottenham Community Week (TCW) Committee is going headlight to headlight in a colourful competition.
The TCW will be entering two Derby Cars into the Beeton Fall Fair in September. One representing Beeton, the other Tottenham.
Beeton’s Derby Car will be presented at the Beeton Honey Festival and the public is invited to paint it.
TCW will have their own car on July 6th for the Street Festival and is also inviting the public to put their “mark” on our car which will also be entered into the Derby.
Join the TCW Committee at the Beeton Honey Festival this Saturday May 25th, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Mike Deckers of Deckers Electric will be supplying this Derby Car.
Richard White, of New Tecumseth Taxi, is providing the Tottenham car which will be at the Street Festival for painting at 3:30 p.m.
The TCW is hoping to use this as a humorous opportunity to promote our friendly competition between the communities and draw attention to these community events.
