Community Derby Car

The Community Derby Car Competition, that supports the Chamber, local businesses, community partnerships with the South Simcoe Arts Council (SSAC) and Community Spirit, was available at the Beeton Honey & Garden Festival (May 25th) for residents to paint. The idea for the Derby Car came from Tottenham Community Week committee through its affiliation with the Tottenham Beeton & District Chamber of Commerce. The joint venture aimed to close the gap between Tottenham and Beeton residents/businesses in a fun and creative way. Members of the SSAC suggested painting the used car, which will be entered into the Beeton Fall Fair Derby this September.
