May 14, 2014   ·   0 Comments

Cookstown United Church held its annual Spring Fling, in support of My Sister’s Place (the local women’s shelter) which resulted in a fun night of dancing, activities, and good food. Admission was $12 in advance, or $15 at the door, with 50 per cent of the proceeds going to help buy school lunch items for children at the women’s shelter. There was also a bake sale and plenty of door prizes to be won.
