Council approves ‘Tag Day’

Look for Tag Day volunteers on street corners throughout New Tecumseth on Friday, May 2.

‘Tag Day’ was created by the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary to raise funds for the local hospital and has since become a fun, annual event.

Auxiliary volunteers will be stationed with their tag boxes at various locations within the Town – last year they were spotted at the Tottenham Mall and the intersection of Victoria and Church Street in Alliston.

Funds collected on Tag Day will be used towards the purchase of capital equipment for the community hospital.
