County, New Tec to meet on Beeton crossing

A meeting is in the works for staff from New Tecumseth and Simcoe County to discuss the condition of the Canadian Pacific Railway crossing on County Road 1, west of Beeton.

New Tecumseth council asked for improvements to the grading at the crossing back in July.

County council agreed to the meeting last week which will also see staff from Canadian Pacific Railway invited to come up with a solution.
