Simcoe County council’s change to its meeting structure seems to be going well after the first month.
County councillors held their first combined council/committee meeting last week and it came off without any major hitches.
The combined council and committee meeting lasted a bit less than three hours.
The county decided to give the new meeting schedule a trial run for the last months of this year and will decide whet to make it permanent next January.
All county councillors now are present for Corporate Services, Human Services and Performance Management areas which previously were discussed at separate meetings.
