Driver charged in vehicle/motorcycle collision

The Nottawasaga OPP responded to a report of a motorcycle rider injured and lying on the roadway at the intersection of Hwy 89 and County Road 50 at 12:12 p.m. in Adjala-Tosorontio Township.
Police attended the scene and investigation revealed that a driver operating a motor vehicle turned left from Hwy 89 to County Road 50 in front of a motorcycle heading Eastbound on Hwy 89. The motor vehicle and motorcycle collided with each other.
The driver of the motor vehicle has been charged with left turn fail to avoid collision contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the motor vehicle was uninjured.
