Driver charged with dangerous driving

Nottawasaga OPP officers received a call to attend a motor vehicle collision on May 3, at 12:22 a.m. on Concession Road 3 near County Road 17, in Adjala–Tosorontio Township. The collision took place between two vehicles a 2006 Acura and a 2012 Dodge Caravan, the driver of the 2006 Acura was driven off the road by the driver of the Dodge Caravan. The 2012 Dodge Caravan was located by Dufferin OPP with a damaged front tire; the suspect driver was attempting to retrieve the vehicle through the police. Charged with Dangerous driving and Fail to remain at the scene of a collision is 28 year old April Smith from Southgate. She will appear in court on July 10, at the Ontario Court of Justice to answer to these charges.
