Drivers distracted, police paying attention

The Nottawasaga OPP participated in the OPP’s distracted driving campaign from April 15–22, the prime message of this campaign was “put down the phone and leave it alone”.
Over the week, Nottawasaga OPP Officers were diligent in enforcing the distracted driving law with 60 drivers charged locally with driving offences relating to distracted driving.
Please keep the good habit of leaving your phone alone while driving all year long. Nottawasaga OPP will continue to enforce Ontario’s distracted driving law all throughout the year.
