The 2nd Annual Ernest Cumberland Elementary School (ECES) Spring Fling took place on Saturday, May 10th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Again this year, the event included a student talent show, silent auction, yard sale, barbecue lunch, Mr. Rapin’s Outdoor Fun, an animal information session by Lansilot Acres and many other fun surprises.

Fight fair now! Kids got into the action too, by dawning sumo wrestler outfits and getting their steam out on the mats. Once they were down, they had to be pulled to their feet by an adult – so for these kids, hitting the mat wasn’t an option!

The Spring Fling included a garage and sidewalk sale. Signs posted along King Street drew in a crowd of eager shoppers.

Baby lamb steals the show – Kolton holds a 3–week old Haired Lamb named ‘Boomer’. Boomer was born on a delivery truck and is being raised by the family who owns Lansilot Acres, a small farm just outside of Alliston. Lansilot Acres provided the animals for the Annual Spring Fling event at Ernest Cumberland Elementary School last Saturday. For farm tours or more information, visit www.lansiltoacres.com
