Fall Fair Concert – bring a lawn chair!

Join the organizers of the 157th Annual Beeton Fall Fair for the first ever ‘Fall Fair Concert’.

Friday, September 13th

• 9 p.m. – Grant Boyer

• 10 p.m. – Buritto Sunrise with Tim Ronan and Chris Taggart

Saturday, September 14th

Jason Vincent: an award winning singer/songwriter from the Greater Toronto Area.  He is an avid YouTube contributor with well over a million views and frequently donates his time and talents to charities and fundraising events. Jason has been writing music and playing for live audiences for 25 years, during which time he has released several albums and sold his music via online distributors such as iTunes and Amazon. Jason prides himself on having an extensive and diverse repertoire which allows him to easily cater to a wide variety of audiences. In addition to playing private parties, weddings and events, Jason enjoys playing his weekly gig at the Schomberg Pub near his home town.

Beet’n Boomers: almost four years ago, a couple of musical friends, Al Masters and Al Lord, were playing folk songs at the local Muddy Water Hotel in Beeton. Shortly after they were joined by Steve Charlton from Beeton a seasoned musician for over 25 years and the Beeton Boomers were born. Later, drummer Mike Maguire from Orangeville and Lefty Shaw of Beeton on keyboards were brought into the band. The Boomers perform for local events including: Music in the Park for Tottenham, Beeton, Allison and Stayner, Alliston Potato Festival as well as local bars and private functions. Their music includes hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and some newer songs.

Burrito Sunrise: will shine from the main stage on Friday night at this year’s Beeton Fall Fair.  The duo is comprised of two well- known and talented local artists whose timing, training and dedication to their craft is something to behold as they weave their voices and instruments into a tapestry of sound and emotion.

Chris Taggart: began his musical journey at an early age.  He grew up listening to classic Rock and Pop music in Alliston. He later became mesmerized by the harmonic and melodic complexities of Jazz which inspired him to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree of Music at the University of Toronto.   During his formal education, Chris toured with the Shriner’s Circus playing lead guitar.  After completing his degree, Chris has played with several bands. He also taught guitar full time at the Modern Conservatory of Music. He has opened for and played with accomplished musicians such as Jason Blaine, Russell De Carle, Wendell Ferguson, Oliver Pigott and Sean Bourke. He has written and recorded songs with new and up and coming artists such as Nicole Scott, Tetyana Ostapowych, Tim Ronan, Grant Boyer and Josh Hutchinson.  He is currently playing with local bands Burrito Sunrise, Astar the Robot and the Chris Taggart Trio.

Tim Ronan: His celtic roots run deep in this Colgan raised musician. Music has always been a large part of Tim’s upbringing and he has been playing guitar since the age of 12. From rocking the pubs of southern Ontario to the East coast of Canada, Tim has the ability to please crowds of all ages. From ballads to jigs, from rock to funk, one can only guess what Tim has up his sleeve! At 28 years of age, this talented young man knows how to get the crowd going and keep them there!

Tim Ronan: His celtic roots run deep in this Colgan raised musician. Music has always been a large part of Tim’s upbringing and he has been playing guitar since the age of 12. Grant Boyer: grew up in Cookstown where he took piano lessons as a child. His keen interest in music grew with him and he continued his musical studies through his teens and into his adult life. Grant has been teaching guitar at the Modern Conservatory of Music in Alliston for the past eight years. Grant has been performing professionally for over 10 years.  He is best known for his role as lead guitarist in the hard rock band “Golden Gate Graves “.  The band has toured Canada and shared the stage with some g reat Canadian talent such as:  April Wine, Monster Truck, Big Wreck, Tea Party, Treble Charger, U.S.S, and Protest the Hero.  www.goldengategraves.com   For the past few of years Grant has been branching out as a solo artist. He has recorded two full length albums, and is currently  performing as a one man acoustic act all over Canada.
