Fatal collision claims Innisfil mans life, worked at Honda

On Saturday May 4, at 12:14 a.m., officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on County Road 56 north of the 10th Sideroad in Essa Township.
Arriving at scene officers discovered a 27 year old deceased male from Innisfil. The male was driving a motorcycle northbound when it collided with another vehicle.
The other vehicle, a Mazda 3, was driven by a 29 year old male driver from Barrie. He was treated for minor injuries at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
County Road 56 was closed during the investigation and reopened at 6 a.m.
Charges are pending following an investigation.
