The Nottawasaga OPP were called to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 89 at 2:22 p.m. on April 9.

The collision involved a 2010 Pontiac G6 travelling westbound on Highway 89 in Alliston and a 2012 Ford pick up truck travelling eastbound, the driver of the Pontiac was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

The occupants of the pick up truck were treated at the scene and released with minor injuries.

The deceased driver has been confirmed as 51 year old Robert Gordon of Essa Township.
