Free Cooking Club for seniors

CONTACT Community Services is excited to announce that thanks to funding received from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, seniors in New Tecumseth and surrounding areas will have an opportunity to become more involved in their community and share valuable life skills and knowledge.
The Global Kitchen is a fun, free, and informal cooking club that will bring together local and newcomer seniors to share cooking techniques, culinary traditions and international recipes.
For seniors interested in learning more about The Global Kitchen, an Information Session is being held on Thursday, May 30, at 10 a.m. at CONTACT Community Services, 39 Victoria Street East, Alliston, 2nd Floor Conference Room.
