Funding for the trail

Dear editor:

It is my understanding that so far the Trans Canada Trail group has donated to the Town of New Tecumseth between $150,000.00 and $300,000.00 toward the cost of the trail.

In my letter I intended no criticism of the South Simcoe Railway or the Gibson Centre. I merely used these examples of other projects that have received financial support from council. There are many others.
