Local hockey and baseball legend Larry Gould will be coming home to Beeton this week to play in the 9th Annual FAB Golf Tournament.
Larry enjoyed a successful 10-year professional hockey career including a stint with the Vancouver Canucks in 1973-74.
He is traveling from Port Huron, Michigan with his son Cory to join Larry’s brothers John and Ted in a Gould foursome.
The tournament is held at the Beautiful Club at Bond Head on Sunday, Aug 11th. The FAB group is raising funds for a new Leisure and Training Centre in Beeton.
All participants will be rewarded this year, as each will receive one two-for-one coupon for any ClubLink public play course, one caddie towel, and a sleeve of TaylorMade golf balls.
Registrations are rolling in with encouraging signs for a sell-out. For last minute entries call Ray at 905-729-2436.
