June 1, 2013   ·   0 Comments

This years Beeton Honey and Garden Festival had a certain buzz around it.

Hundreds of residents and visitors filled Main Street, and were entertained with numerous attractions. Vendors, artists, musicians, and food-stands occupied both sides of the street, offering a variety of goods that attracted everyone.

The festival featured new events including: live entertainment, The Ben Show (famous juggler and entertainer), The Classic Car and Truck Show, and the Great Beeton Bee Contest (artists were urged to create their version of a bee, made from weather resistant materials).

The festival housed approximately 170 vendors, offering antique furniture (Antique Valley), collectibles, and jewelry.

The Honey and Garden Festival entertained all ages with a wide array of attractions, but the children seemed to have the best of it. Cotton candy, slushies, ice cream, pony rides, jumping castle, and art shows, were the highlight of their day.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the Honey and Garden Festival proved that Beeton is “One Honey of a Hometown.”
