Impaired

Just after 5 p.m. on Friday June 28th, South Simcoe Police received a 911 call from a citizen reporting a possible impaired driver on the 10th Sideroad in Bradford West Gwillimbury. The citizen updated police on the location of the vehicle and police were able to locate it on the 11th Line just West of County Rd 27. The driver, a 46 year old female from Beeton, was arrested for Impaired Driving. She was transported to the South Simcoe Police South Division in Bradford where further investigation lead to an additional charge of Over 80 milligrams.  The female was released with a July court date. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for 7 days as a result of the Over 80 charge.
