In–kind donations help Beeton Lawn Bowling Club

The Beeton Lawn Bowling Club will benefit because of the efforts of its executive in 2013.
After learning that the Club would only receive $1,000 in grant funding from The Town of New Tecumseth in 2013 (down from $2,000 in 2012) Club representative Wayne Callan approached council.
Callan said that he would appreciate “any help the Town could offer”, and the municipality has responded.
The Director of Parks, Recreation & Culture, Ray Osmond, reviewed the request and has offered in-kind services. The Department will provide fertilizer in the amount of $1,000 – $1,200 and fence maintenance at the Lawn Bowling Club.
This puts the total donation from the Town up to $2,200 plus employee costs for 2013.
