International Plowing Match Quilt Competition call for entries

The Simcoe County Museum and International Plowing Match Organizing Committee are now accepting entries for the 2014 International Plowing Match Quilt Competition at the Simcoe County Museum. The deadline to submit your quilt is Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
There are 15 different categories, including Pieced and Appliquéd Quilts (both hand-quilted and machine-quilted), Original Wall Hangings, 2 Youth classes and Group Quilts.
Entries will be judged in early May and will be on display at the Simcoe County Museum from May 9 to 10, 2014. This will be the only time that all entries will be on display together. The winning quilts will be displayed during the International Plowing Match in nearby Ivy, Ontario from September 16 to 20, 2014.
