March 5, 2014   ·   0 Comments

Hey parents! It’s been a long cold winter, and the sap is about to start flowing. Why not bring the family over to Scanlon Creek Conservation Area to enjoy the first taste of spring?

Our Maple Syrup Event takes place on the morning (10 a.m. to noon) and afternoon (1 – 3 p.m.) on Friday, March 7, Monday, March 10 and Friday, March 14.

Participants will learn how to identify maple trees, tap the trees and watch as we make maple syrup the old fashioned way. At the end, everyone will enjoy a pancake or waffle drizzled with real maple syrup.

The cost to attend is $10 per person (adults) and $6 per person (children 12 and under).

Scanlon Creek Conservation Area is located at 2450 9th Line in Bradford.

This is an outdoor activity so please make sure you dress for the weather. Space is limited. Please book your attendance in advance by calling 905 775-6341.
